Leo M. Kosobucki, age 88, of Harborcreek, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at St. Mary's Home, East, from complications of Covid-19. He was born in Erie on March 15, 1932, son of the late Leo and Mary Kosobucki.
Leo is survived by his "Angel on Earth" (just kidding), Patricia Walsh Kosobucki. He and Pat have been married 55 years. He is also survived by four children, Michael Kosobucki (Ana Swedberg), Karen Kosobucki (Joe Lopez), Mary Montano (Tony), and David Kosobucki (Trinh); three grandchildren, Hayley Montano, Casey and Caleb Kosobucki; his in-laws, Richard and Patricia Walsh; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Edmund, Robert and Donald.

Benjamin L. DeDionisio, age 88, of Harborcreek, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Erie on December 7, 1931, son of the late Benjamin and Jenny DeDionisio.
Benjamin was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He was employed as a welder at Weil-McLain for many years. Following that, he finished his career working for the Harbor Creek School District. Benjamin was an active member of Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, where he volunteered with the Ella Cochran Food Pantry. He loved gardening, hunting, fishing and especially the time spent with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the East Erie Moose Club and YMCA Silver Sneaker Club.

Catherine "Cathy" Elizabeth McCann Altieri, age 95, of Erie, passed away at her home on Friday, November 20, 2020. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 18, 1924, daughter of the late Charles J. and Katherine E. Krieger McCann.
Cathy graduated from St. Augustine Parochial School and Girls Commercial High School both in Brooklyn, NY. After graduation, she worked as a secretary for City Bank Farmers Trust Company in the Manhattan Financial District. Cathy also worked for the South Hills Area YMCA of Pittsburgh for 23 years before retiring to Erie.

Helen L. Black, age 93, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Elmwood Gardens.
She was born in Canadohta Lake, on January 29, 1927, daughter of the late George and Anna (Fojtik) Polach. She was a 1949 graduate of the South Side Hospital School of Nursing. Helen was a Registered Nurse who worked at Union City Hospital, St. Vincent Hospital, and Erie Osteopathic Hospital (Millcreek Hospital). She served as a Pennsylvania State Inspector of Nursing Homes, psychiatric and mental disability facilities.
She was a member of the Our Lady of Mercy Church in Harborcreek.

Blair Edward Crosby, age 93, of Harborcreek, went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, November 17, 2020. He was born in Indian Head, PA on September 20, 1927, son of the late Roy and Olive Crosby.
Blair attended Academy High School and was a WWII veteran. He was employed as an electrician at Interlake Iron for 20 years and then at Autoclave Engineers, retiring in 1988 after 20 years of service at Autoclave.
Blair was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church. He volunteered at the Ella Cochran Food Pantry for 20 years, Habitat for Humanity, Friendship Ministries, and St. Mary's Home of Erie.

Gregory served as a Boy Scout Leader and loved the outdoors; he played the piano and enjoyed woodworking. He retired from Verizon after many years of employment. Most of all, he was a family man. Irene was a graduate of Harbor Creek High School and earned her Bachelor's Degree from Slippery Rock and her Master's Degree from Case Western Reserve. She was a physical education instructor for the Harbor Creek School District and at Penn State Behrend. Irene was a senior advocate at Harborcreek Township since 2001. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church and was active in AARP.
